One of the commitments I made this year was to read all the books on my shelf, before buying new ones.

And for the most part, I stuck to that!

Below you’ll see the 📚  icon for books that were already on my shelf, and I had been putting off reading in favor of shiny objects in 2019.

But of course when the Black Lives Matter movement took center stage this summer, I purchased a few new books to make sure I was getting more diverse authors and perspectives than I ever had before, which you’ll see noted with a 🖤.

And I also started to pay more attention to the number of female authors I read this year in the business space, which are denoted with a 👑..
