3 Reasons Why You Need To Launch A Membership Program

To Sum It Up:

The truth is I’m just as obsessed with being a part of membership programs, as I am about how smart they are for integrating into your business!

Because sometimes WHAT you’re launching to your audience, is just as important as the how.

So without further adieu, here are the top three reasons why I believe the next thing you should be launching is a membership program:

1. You’re meeting the market where it’s at.

The first argument I’m going to make for launching a membership program is that you’re meeting the market where it’s at.

From Netflix to nonprofits, everyone is looking for their people to get on a recurring subscription billing with them so that they have month over month income.

Regardless of what is actually being delivered, if you are offering a price point under $100 a month recurring, and you are offering a ton of great value, you have the makings of a program that could be an amazing membership model for you.

2. Create recurring, sustainable income in your business.

Now, I am all for a huge product launch (and would love to help you on one in the future…), but there is something to be said for having flashes of cash to make $30,000 to $60,000 in a couple of months and then have nothing until you launch again in six months.

If you also layer on a monthly recurring membership program in addition to those bigger launches, you are setting yourself up for much longer success, and you can actively predict how much revenue you’re bringing in every month.

Even if you’re only opening enrollment into your membership a few times, over 72% of people will stay month over month. So you have a really good opportunity to build up some income that you can then use for your bigger launches for more Facebook ads to reinvest in your business or to go on a dream vacation. 🙂

3. Your membership students become your brain trust

While I know memberships can feel like they are a ton of work, point number three might convince you otherwise because a membership program becomes a paid brain trust!

You will never again have to come up with blog post content, webinar titles or sales page copy from scratch again.

This membership group is gonna love you! They’re gonna give you all the feedback that you need for what they’re struggling with. They’re going to constantly inspire you with new ideas for content, for blog posts, for even new products you could launch. Like if you have a bundle or you release a certain training and everyone loves that, you know to turn that into a little mini training you can sell as passive income or turn it into a book.

These membership students will become your best, most loyal customers, your raving fans and, help you do all the work of coming up with future content in your business for you. So, if sales have been hard at your $1,000, $2,000 group coaching programs, try bringing the price point under $100 to meet the market where it’s at.

Your Turn:

Great insight on this idea, Jessica! I think that once I have a larger following and get away from one-on-one design services in the future, I would love to create a platform/community where I can constantly be of service and have that nice, recurring income. All good points!

Absolutely! I think if you’re coming someone who loves to be of service, a membership is a great option. And I know people would love more access to you in your zone of genius!
